Introduction of the speakers：

Speaker 1：

Professor Long-yuan Li is the chair Professor of Structural Engineering at the University of Plymouth (UK). His research interests cover the fields of mechanics of materials, durability, reliability, and fire safety of RC structures. Prof Li received his PhD at Shanghai University in 1987. He started his academic career at Aston University as a Lecturer in 1996, then moved to the University of Birmingham in 2008, and was appointed as a Chair Professor of Structural Engineering by the University of Plymouth in 2011. Prof Li was the Director of the Research Centre for Advanced Engineering Systems and Interactions at the University of Plymouth from 2012 to 2019. Prof Li has published over 200 SCI-indexed journal papers with a Scopus h-index 45. Currently, Prof Li is the editor of “Construction and Building Materials” and a member of the editorial board of “Cement and Concrete Composites”, “Magazine of Concrete Research” and “Journal of Marine Engineering & Technology”.

Speaker 2：

Professor Nattapong Damrongwiriyanupap is from the, University of Phayao, Department of Civil Engineering, Thailand. He is currently the dean of the School of Engineering; he obtained PhD degree from Colorado University, USA. His research interests focus on green concrete structures for sustainability and reutilization of various solid wastes in concrete structures. He has published over 50 scientific papers.
